World Wetlands Day - held annually on February 2nd

Spay Day USA - promotes spaying or neutering of our pet and feral cats. Held annually near the end of February, (US event)

March

World Water Day - held annually on March 22

Meatout - promotes a vegetarian diet. Held annually on the first day of spring (or around March 20)

Earth hour - promotes efforts to address global warming by asking businesses and residents to turn off their lights for one hour. This event is held annually in late March.

April

Earth Day - held annually during the third week of April.

TV-Turnoff Day - held annually in the last week of April.

Be Kind to Animals Week - held annually around the second week of May (U.S event)
